Money follows Ideas, Ideas should never follow money

Enterprising people often fall into the trap thinking that they need money to start something and make money.

But recently I read somewhere that this is a bad assumption.

One person who was once homeless, one day sat down and thought long and hard about his situation. And then he realized and wrote down on a peice of paper, ‘Money Follows Ideas.’

Since that day he has developed a string of successful businesses, all based around this little realization of his - that a good idea is worth more than 1 million dollars.

The world is awash with many such cases that prove he is right. For example, Google and Facebook, or Virgin and its mail order music idea that got it started or Gillette and its cheap disposable razorblades.

The world is also full of examples of people and organisations that suddenly came into alot of money and no idea how to use it. Instead they wasted everything on really dumb things.

So forget about the money.

All you need to have is a good idea, and passion and belief in yourself to start it up.

The money will come later.
